FEVER 1793~Kienan Corcoran.

Fever is about a young girl who must battle her way through the Yellow Fever epidemic with her grandfather by her side. Matilda must leave the city or die. Matilda and her grandfather are forced away from their home in the coffee shop as they scramble to survive. In this epidemic, over 10% of Philadelphia’s citizens die, and are buried in the cities mass graves. Can Matilda survive until the first frost? (The first frost is very important in this story, because when it snowed, the icy frost killed all of the mosquitoes passing the dreaded disease.) I suggest this book for readers who enjoy twisting plots, horrible turns, and sudden death. I hope you enjoy the book.
