Cassidy is more comfortable in holey sweats than the rows of expensive tennis dresses her mother buys and hangs in her closet. She doesn’t want to go to the private snob school her mother picked out. And she doesn’t want to meet “that nice Jim Vanhorn.” But Jim’s a great tennis player, and there’s something about him. Is it possible for them to get together… inspite of her mother?
I think this is a wonderful book about love and sports. Though it leans more on the girly side this book isn’t just for girls, I believe both boys and girls would enjoy this book. This book is realistic fiction, but Cassidy must have thought her story was a fantasy.
